How to transfer contacts from iphone to android?



iPhone and Android are the two biggest mobile operating system. iPhone smartphones are designed and distributed by Apple, it is most widely purchased phone range in world. But with the introduction of Google’s free mobile operating system the Android, it has overtaken the market. 

The user interface and its simplicity is the specialty of iPhone. But iPhone users find it difficult to transfer contacts from iPhone to Android. For this users have to convert the file formats which are understandable by Android. There are number of ways which can be used to transfer contacts from iPhone to android some of them are-

The iPhone Contacts app which allows the user to share contacts manually from one phone to another one. For this you just have to open the app and select a contact from the contact info page, scroll down and select Share Contacts.
  • iTunes synchronization is one of the method to transfer contacts for this you have synchronize iTunes from your iPhone to the computer and transfer all the data to your Google account. Synchronized contacts will include contact’s name, image, number etc.
  • If your iPhone is enabled with iCloud’s service contacts can be easily backed up to the iCloud account. You can export those contacts into the file that can be imported by Android directly or indirectly through Google Contacts.
  • There are a number of apps that help to share contacts easily. One of such is My Contacts Backup app for iOS. This app allows you to share contacts from iPhone to Android Handset without connecting it to the computer.
  • Another interesting app that allows you to share contacts and other files is bump. Bumping is sharing data among two devices through active internet connection.
  • From this we saw that sharing contacts from iPhone to an Android Phone is not so difficult. But the process is not as straightforward as it should be.
